What is Punto Verde?
Punto Verde is a medical cannabis dispensary in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, for registered patients 21 and older with a recommendation from an authorized physician.
Is medical cannabis legal in Puerto Rico?
Yes. Medical cannabis is legal under Ley 42-2017 and Reglamento 9038. Recreational use (without a physician recommendation) is not legal on the island.
How do I get my medical cannabis card?
In general: you see a certifying physician who evaluates whether medical cannabis is appropriate for your condition, then you register with the Department of Health through the Salud Digital portal. You must be 21 or older. For the exact steps, consult your physician and the official portal.
Who can buy at the dispensary?
Only registered patients 21 and older with a current medical cannabis card. By law, no one under 21 may enter the dispensary.
What do I need to bring on my first visit?
Your current medical cannabis card and a government-issued photo ID. If you have questions, call us before you come.
What kinds of products are there?
Puerto Rico's program allows formats such as flower for vaporization, oils, tinctures, capsules, edibles, and topicals. You can see the current menu on our Menu page and talk with staff about what best fits you and your physician's guidance.
How do I choose a product?
Define your goal with your physician and look at a product's cannabinoid content (THC/CBD) and terpene profile, not just the strain name. Our Learn section explains these concepts, and staff can guide you.
Do you have a loyalty program?
Yes. Our digital card lets you collect stamps and rewards and manage your store credit. You can activate it free from the home page.
